Okay, I am just coming in from sono after my spotting(brown and red) since Thursday. Well I found out first that I have fibroids? Dont no much about those but I will ask zillions of questons tomorrow at my 845 dr's appt. Second, I heard heartbeats!!! Now, if you notice I said BEATS, I am pregnant with twins. No, I didnt expect twins but I prayed so hard for a healthy baby that I forgot to only ask for one. I am 6 wks 3 days. Anyone here with fibroids?

I'm sorry about the fibroids but I'm happy you have two strong babies with strong heartbeats in there.

I have fibroids (well, I'm sure I do) I had a large on removed 8 years ago, and had another one when I was pregnant w/ DD. They are really nothing to worry about, depending on the size and shape, and location. They are just non-cancerous tumors, they can affect getting pregnanct, but usually not staying pregnant. They can also grow larger during a pregnancy (the grow because of hormones) but usually shrink after. I'm sure you Doctor will beable to tell you more.

Congratulations on the twins.

Congrats hun!!!!

I have a very small fibroid, this was discovered after I had a few episodes of first trimester bleeding. I was told that it will not affect pregnancy in a bad way because it is so small but pregnancy hormones can make them grow. I'm now just over 29 weeks and haven't had any problems with it and baby is growing perfectly. I was also told to try and take it easy. I try to but I already have 2 kids and a husband but the spotting did stop.
