Queen of ectopics here (3). YES it is possible to get pg successfully after an ectopic. Of course, it's also possible to end up with an ectopic when you do IVF.

Good luck hun, and I hope your little bean is firmly lodged in the right place!!

My 1st pregnancy was a tubal ectopic. I had sugery and my left tube was saved. This is my 5th pregnancy and while I had 2 m/c's before I had Makenna I've never had another ectopic and they all implanted in my uterus. All the best as you wait...it's truly the hardest thing.

Ectopics HCG levels don't double and tend to be low, so I used to have my levels checked early on to try and rule out an ectopic. It was little bit of reassurance until I could get an u/s.

Yeah thats how my ectopic was picked up. I went to the ER as I was having pains so they did my bloods as routine and then noticed the hcg was a bit low, and wanted to repeat my bloods in 48 hours -just to be on the safe side they said. My levels started out at 90 and they NEVER doubled

I am hoping my hcg doubles this time. Its was 21 yesterday so I am hoping for at least 42 tomorrow x
