Ok I am freaking out here big time. I am not sure if it is my imagination or not, but I am kinda feeling a dull cramping sensation in my lower tummy. I hope my bfp was real and that af isnt going to make an appearance

Why is my body doing this to me! I am scared enough of loosing this baby without the added worry of cramps ect

It is perfectly normal to have cramping. I know I even went in to the ER for my cramps. Turns out that is normal in pregnancy. Its your little one getting nice and comfy in there. As long as it isn't followed by bleeding or severe cramping then you will be ok. I know its hard to believe that especially after a loss, but we have to hold on to hope! Hang in there momma!!

Sweetie.... I had cramps ALL the time the first couple weeks. My RE explained it to me. The Corpus Luteum (sp?) is a cyst that forms during the pregnancy, and that is what causes the cramps. She said it is VERY normal. I Oed on my left side and felt the cramps worse on that side. It made total sense.

The cramps got so bad (and I had red blood) at 6w4d that I went to the ER positive that I was losing this baby. I was really shocked to see his heart beating away and everything just perfect.

I think pregnancy after loss is one of the hardest things we as women can go through. It does make you thankful every day for the life growing inside of you though.

The first 12 weeks are the hardest. Actually the first few are the hardest. Once you go in and see that little ones heartbeat, you will fall in love even more and you will have a little sense of relief for a little while at least. Then the next u/s and finally waiting for the gender u/s. You will enjoy it, but fears come up as soon as you see those two pink lines. Good moms start worrying the minute they see 2 pink lines and it never stops, thats what makes us good moms! Hang in there, before you know it you will be in your 2nd trimester.

To be honest, I'm STILL having cramps off and on, and I'm 16w. So...mild pulling cramps are very normal. Like the others said, it only gets scary if there's bleeding and severe cramping is involved.

And it's NORMAL to be scared honey! I just try to enjoy every day that I am pregnant.

Thanks ladies, I know it sounds sad but I am setting myself little 'goals' to get to. Like I thought to myself, If I can make it to 4 weeks then its a bonus. I only have 4 days to go until I am 4 weeks

I hate those cramps. I have those with all my pregnancies . I have always been told that that is normal, but after a loss I do not think anything is normal . All I can say is to take it day by day.

Cramps are normal, I had them for a few weeks after getting my bfp. It's scary after a lost to have cramps, I think, because you keep thinking that you are loosing the baby. It's normal, don't worry. To be very honest with you I don't know if being scare ever goes away, I'm 19 weeks and I'm still scare.

We understand the scared part, Kate.

I had cramps too. And like Brittanie, I still am having cramps.

Sending you tons of sticky dust, hun!!! This one is your keeper!!!!!! Praying for a happy and healthy nine months, and I think the goals is a great idea. I did the exact same thing. I set those goals, and after reaching them I set new goals, and here I still am. It made it so much easier for me! Infact, I bought my very first baby things yesterday because I reached one of my goals finally. You will get there too!!!!
