Hi girls, its nice to be on here with a lot of familiar faces! (or names, I guess) Anyway, I just found out on Christmas Eve I am pregnant!
The only symptom I have is sore BBS- which was always the first thing I noticed with my other 2 pregnancies. But this time around, I started af like cramps a whole week before I got a BFP. If I didnt have the sore BBS I wouldve been shocked to see a bfp because I was swearing af would come any day.
So my problem is this: I am still getting cramps on and off during the day and this has me worried. Then, yesterday when I went to the bathroom, there was old blood mixed with some discharge on my underwear. It wasnt red at all, but the cramps and then old blood is enough to scare me. I have stayed in bed all day and I called my dr, but am waiting for them to call me back.
I was just wondering if this has happened to any of you and everything has ended up fine, or if this is the first sign that something is definately wrong.
I have had some more discharge on my underwear today that has been clear, so I am hoping it is nothing, but I need reassurance!

Oh, Stephanie! I know how worried you must be! I've been seeking success stories as well. Unfortunately, from my own experience, I don't have a success story. BUT, I do KNOW several women who have had similar experiences and have had wonderfully healthy babies! I wouldn't be too worried about no symptoms yet...it's still pretty early for most women to feel much. As for the bleeding, I know that it's more cause for concern, but since it's old blood, it could be implantation blood or just a little shaken. Were the cramps heavy and painful, or more like discomfort and AF "warning" cramps? Those could be perfectly normal, too--the stretching of the uterus and ligaments.

Has your doc called yet? I'm sure that you'll be relieved to hear from him/her! In the meantime, and I hope that you're able to rest!!!

They arent too painful- just discomfort and AF "warning" cramps. Usually the day before af comes, I have terrible cramps that have me doubled over until I can soak in a hot hot bath- this hasnt even been close to that, but the aches are there.

I have called my dr and I left a message with the on-call nurse and am still waiting to hear back. I just want everything to be ok!

Hi girls, Gosh I sure hope your Doc has gotten back to you. I also had spotting and mild cramping at first. My Doc said it was the implantation of the cell. I hope this is true for you also. B

Everything is ok for you?

My dr did call me back and faxed a lab order to the lab for me to do tomorrow to check progesterone and hcg. I go in to the dr on Tuesday. Please continue to pray for me!!!

It sounds normal, then, if the cramps aren't painful and you don't have red blood!!!

Everything is crossed for you and I can't wait to hear great results from your labs!

I had some brown discharge with this one early and some cramping, I was looking for anything that might indicate another mc, and I went into for an us and everything was perfectly normal, the nurse said it was perfectly normal as long as its not bright red, but haveing a mc before its like I am looking for every little ache and pain, I try not to think about it and just enjoy being preggers. sorry if I wasn't any help

At about 5 weeks I had a red mucous discharge off and on for about a week. I even passed a tiny blood clot! That is when I finally called the doc and got checked out. All was and still is well with my baby. He said it was continued implantation. It is so scary to see that spotting. Hang in there and remember that spotting is quite common in early pregnancy.
