Long story short I have had three losses and I am nervous as heck! My LMP was 8-14 I got faint BFP with early tests on SAT on Mon I got a digital BFP (early one too). Went in to OB on Mon tested light BFP on their test. They sent me to the lab for HCG and Progesterone results were HCG 27 Progesterone 8.8. According to LMP EDD is 5/23 but I always O late Day 19-21 ish. I was not tracking this month so not sure. I would guess I am just shy of 4 weeks along. Doc said this could be normal and to wait for tommorows repeat results. I am freaking out!!! From what I found online 27 is prenant and could be normal for 1-2 weeks actually pregnant. But I keep seeing ladies with #s in the hundreds already!
I don't know on the hcg numbers, everybody's are different it seems, the thing to watch is that they rise. So wait to worry till you get your repeat number, OK. (I know, easier said than done, huh) What I would watch is that progesterone number, if it doesn't increase past 12 then they need to put you on a progesterone supplement ASAP. Good luck, I'll be keeping an eye out for your updated numbers. And,
CONGRATS!!! You are pregnant, hun, rejoice in that fact!!!
27 is fairly low, but that would explain the faint bfp. And it is common to be that low very early in pregnancy. Since your not certain of when you O'd then there is a good chance that you just caught it very early. If you are off by a few days of O and if this little one took a little longer to implant like mine did this time then that would be very possible. I agree with the pp that the progesterone seems low and should be investigated a little more. You just might need a supplement. I know its hard after a loss, but try to hold onto hope. The next test will tell more. The most important is that the number goes up!
Thank you Mistyx5 for my siggy.
