You are comparing morning urine to evening urine. You've probably been drinking fluids and peeing all day. Don't worry about tonights test.

Not to worry I peed on one at 12 weeks and it was light.... no way my HCG was low then

I say enjoy the test from this morning.... and don't worry about the last one. Now put them away for a day or so and then take one again. I think every two days will help you not go wacko but still reassure you. HPT's can be fun...but will drive you mad!

I really wouldn't worry about that one test.

ok, back away from the sticks.......nice and slowly now!!!

I know it's so hard because you were counting on getting your numbers back. But like the other ladies said, you're looking at a fmu compared to one after drinking all day and peeing.

Even so, those tests are SO unreliable when you are trying to compare the darkness of the lines. I took one at 12 and 14 DPO for this pregnancy, and the 14DPO was lighter than the 12DPO??? That should not have been the case obviously, but it was. Everything is obviously going well with my pg, so I have 0 trust in comparing 2 tests, and my advice would be to only rely on HCG results at this point.

Also, I have not been around for a couple days, so I am just assuming your doctors did not call or they did not get the results from the lab, but you may be able to go to one of the lab testing facilities and get your results immediately. That's what I used to do when I was really anxious.

Hugs, I hope you can start feeling more relaxed soon!

a lot of times one test might be a bit more sensitive than another, even when they are the same brand. one of my pregnancies, i had more than one positive home test and then i peed for the doctor's office and they told me it was negative! i had to go through a week or so of blood tests at the hospital before they announced to me that i was pregnant. it just goes to show you that tests just vary.
try not to read too much into it (i know, easier said than one). sorry you feel like this pregnancy is going to be long and stressful, but the women here are wonderful and will be here for you the whole long stressful time!

Thanks ladies, yeah the doctor hadnt got the results from the hospitsl before his office closed, and the pathology lab wont tell me anything So I have gotta wait until monday

I dont think we have lab testing facilities here, what are they? We may call them something else? And if we have one I am so going!

I just feel like this is going to be stressful because I will be worrying every single day and I wont be able to enjoy it. I am sorry that I always seem so negative

If I can be very honest with you. I would to tell you that you won't have to worry once you have pass a certain stage, but I can't, I think that worry will always be with you, the thing is, it gets easier as the pregnancy progresses.

i posted a pic in your other thread, and if you look at 2 of the tests, one from a previous day is lighter than the next day (somewhere in the middle, can't remember which ones exactly). so while my tests were getting darker everyday, there was a day where it was lighter than the previous one. all of mine are fmu except that last one that says pm.

Ah, sorry, I forget; different countries, different medical protocol. Here in the states, most doctors will send you to a lab testing facility for bloodwork and they are all over the place(in retail centers). They operate as their own separate business, and I think for that reason, they are obligated to give the patients their results if they request them. However, it does not sound like that is the case where you live.

I know how you feel, truly I do, and I'm sorry you have to wait the weekend to find out the answer. Patty is right, the worry will never completely leave, but it certainly gets a lot easier as things continue to progress in a positive way. You'll scare yourself when you think the baby isn't moving enough, but then you will learn that they are fine, and next time it happens, you are less concerned. So on and so forth, but we are always here to help get you through the scary times, and celebrate with you during the happy times!

Try to enjoy the rest of your weekend, and try to put it out of your mind as much as you can honey.

All I can say is that the worryness will not go away for awhile. I hate to say it but I still have days where I worry. Its just something we all will go through after having gone through a loss. I had really really light tests in the beginning that scared me but I finally had to stop myself from testing for a few days and it helped some. You are still getting a line and thats all you sould try and focus on right now. You are just going to drive yourself mad if you keep testing. I agree to wait a day or two and test again if it will help ease your mind. That will give your body time to build up more HCG. Anything could have made that line lighter, certain time of the day, how much you've drank till then, how many times you peed up till then. Just try to relaxe and do something fun that will keep your mind off it all for the weekend. You are going to get great numbers come Monday hon.
