Has anyone else had this pain in their pg? Mine started a few days ago and it has been non-stop. It hurts from my lower back into my right butt cheek It is driving me crazy. It hurts like heck. Of course it started after I went to the dr, so I haven't asked her about it yet. I'm sure that's what it is though. Has anyone else experienced this and does anything help? thanks ladies

I suffer from sciatica anyway, and it is the most awful thing I was prescribed really strong pain killers from my doctor to ease the pain. I didnt find anything else that helped apart from painkillers, Im sorry I have no advice hun, but I hope it eases up soon x

yeap, I have it, mine started about 6 weeks ago. I did ask the doctor and she said that some women do get that pain during pregnancy and to take tylenol. Mine gets worse when I lay down, then I can't get up, I have to turn to my side and get up that way, It's a pain

Yep, and it sucks! I had it last time too, it did ease up towards the end though, i think it was the worst for me around 14-20ish weeks. My DR didnt give me anythign for it last time so he probably wont this time either.

I have had it (not pg-related) I have a herniated disc so I've been there. not looking forward to that having that flare up bc of pregnancy!

all they had me do was excercises to strengthen my lower back muscles (to hold the disc in place) but if baby's pressing on that nerve IDK what they can do.

OMG yes...

I have had bouts with it for YEARS !!!! I had to have physical therapy for it for awhile.
It really kicked in again with the pregnancy.....down my right side also...I can actually feel the "knot" in my cheek when it acts up
..it is so annoying, and soooooo uncomfortable. Sometimes using those pain creams help...a little.....as do heating pads.
get DH to rub your cheek...seriously it helps !!
tonight for some reason it is acting up again.....maybe I am, having sympathy sciatica for you??? !!!
