I absolutely love that we're not all in the exact same place here. I mean, something exciting is always going on, whether it's new bfps, betas, early u/s, big u/s, L&D or brand new babies (or even older ones!). I'm feeling a bit bored in my DDC. I mean everyone is having their big u/s and finding out gender, and I've started skipping the "It's a...." threads. I feel bad about that, but I'm just not as excited about it anymore. Which is sad for those of us with the big u/s scheduled later.

But here on PAL...since not everyone is doing the same thing, it's always exciting. I love seeing the new things everyone is doing.

I guess it's just nice to have a little variety.

You ar right on point with that one Britt!

I don't feel as *left behind* in here as I did in the Feb DDC...there is always someone else TTC, or just got their BFP and everything else that you mentioned...so there is always someone on that same step I'm on...

Love it!!

And love you ladies even more!!!

I love it best here because everyone has a diffrent story, has been through something that can help another woman understand what she is going through. No one here ignores negative posts. In DDC's woman tend to ignore those posts where you freak out because it scares them, but here we are all stronger from the experience and loss in our lifes, and we share that strength with other woman. I love my PAL ladies!!

What everyone else has said. And for me its always so nice because you all don't just tell us what we want to hear, you tell us that its most important to listen to your own body. On ddc's they always say "oh its because the baby is bigger so you won't feel movements", or bleeding is normal in pregnancy, and so on. At least here you all listen and tell us that it may be normal, but call our dr. to be sure. I like how we all "keep it real".

It's interesting that those of us who have been through it and have reason to be terrified aren't as scared to help others through what they're going through, huh? Yep, I love it here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I guess I shouldn't feel bad when I only get 2 replies there to my big u/s post!

Ditto, Brit. I was just thinking that the other day. I love my DDC, but I love PAL too! It's nice that we're all in different places.

it is so true....what all of you ladies have said.
I got annoyed in my ddc in the beginning because a few times I was made to feel like " what are you worried about?".....that bugged me big time.....and even more so....the "OMG.....I gained 2 lbs in 3 months, I am HUGE"...PUHLEEEEEZ.

Here we all " get it".....no fears go unwarranted, no one judges anyone, or makes them feel like they are crazy for being worried.
our concerns are over very important things, we all share a very special bond and I am so happy that everyone enjoys being a member here.

you girls really are the best !!

all of the above reasons are why i am still here. i know how much everyone helped me my entire pregnancy and it is great to have so many different stages and every bodies experience and advice to rely on.
and it is so nice that we aren't scared to jump right in when someone is having a problem or just freaking out. it is so obvious how all the wonderful ladies here care about each other and are supportive of each other.

I agree with what everyone has said. I love PAL and all you girls! You are the best.

Of course, you all know how I feel about ddc now. They just don't seem as close knit as we all are. We "truly" care for each other.

I think also we have a tendency to be more honest here. We've all been through it.
