I guess those myths about pregnancy brain are not completely myths

So here is my little update. Went to the doctor’s on Monday, we heard the h/b, she said it was a strong h/b she was pleased so, so am I. she measured my belly and said that it was on the larger side, which I have no idea what the means and got me a bit worry, but I called them on Tuesday and the nurse said that if she did not say anything about it, that it was nothing to worry about. The doctor was happy that I gained some weight, and they changed the Hospital where I will give birth. So that’s my little update.

I was sitting here waiting for your update, Patty. Since you said in my thread that you had one too! So glad things were well! Is there a specific reason that they changed the hospital where you will deliver?

Have you guys been thinking about names at all? Seemed to take me forever to just decide on something, so I understand; I was just wondering is all.

The medical group that I go to was bought by another medical group, so as of Jan 1st I have to go to different Hospital, it's a bit further away but is fine, because it's a better hospital, but it happens that I worked there for three months and I hate it. THis whole medical group is another reason why I can't change doctors, I would have to wait until Jan 1st to do it, and I think by it's a bit late, so we are statying with the one that I have right now. I felt a lot better about the office and the doctor when we went in on monday, so I'm happy.

We don't have a name, it's just "baby bump" for now. People are being very helpful and letting us know what we should name the baby, some people are coming up with good names, other not so good....I have to start thinking of names, my mom ask me almost everyday if her grandson has a name yet, I guess she doesn't like baby bump

The myths about pregnancy brain actually have a scientific basis. A lot of your blood flow gets redirected to your uterus when you're pregnant, so your brain actually *isn't* getting as much blood as it usually does. It's not going to cause any damage, but it [i]does]/i] cause absentmindedness and those stupid moments we have.

I'm glad the appointment went well, but I'm sorry that you don't like the hosptial. Yeesh. Good luck!

Preggo brain is in FULL force over here Patty!! I won't go into details, but it is SOOO TRUE!!!!

Anyhow, I heard those measurements can be off by a lot without there be a cause for concern. Unless you are measuring like 4+ weeks off. But, I guess I would rather be bigger than smaller - KWIM?

I'm glad all went well Patty and baby bump is doing great in there. Don't worry, I haven't thought of a name either yet. I keep calling him Junior, which he will not be a jr. Haley called him baby junior last night

Good to know, it got me a big worry, since I do kind of look big, my family thinks that I'm going to have a big baby, I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of factor why the measurements can be off a bit (i won't go into details, TMI).

Jess, I will post another picture soon, I promise.

Michelle, Haley is so cute calling him baby Jr
