If my baby only weighs like 2 pounds, why is it that the last few days I feel like someone is stepping on my bladder?? I am constantly running to the bathroom feeling like I need to pee and then little to nothing. I only really started feeling this way the last couple of days.
My theory is that my athletic baby boy is using my bladder as a punching bag.
Any other ideas??

There's two reasons for that feeling. Yes it can be the position of the baby putting weight on your blatter because room is starting to run out so he will be putting more of my body weight on your bladder. The other reason can be that when you do go pee you dont empty your bladder all the way. I went through that a lot but now when I go I lean forward so that it makes the baby lean on my bladder more to empty it more. It will only get more annoying from here on out. Sorry Just wait till you start peeing your pants that always fun and that can happen even right after you've gone to the bathroom.

Funny that you mentioned that because I kind of had that feeling lately.

Too funny that you brought this up! I had been having this issue a couple weeks ago. I tried to explain it to my dr's nurse at my appt, and she laughed. Was telling her that I was running to the bathroom all the time feeling like I was bursting only to get there to not pee much at all. She had this funny description that she wrote in my chart like 'non-satisfactory release upon urination' They tested for a UTI, but that was fine, guessing it was just baby dancing on my bladder that week.
