Yup, you guessed it, I've been spotting off and on since Friday. I have no cramps though (thankfully). I left work early Friday because I wasn't feel well and it seemed to have stopped after my nap. Saturday, we were running late to catch a train (thanks to DH ) and I ended up running to catch the train because it was starting to pull out of the station when we got there. Sunday, I just lounged around the house most of the day and went out to lunch with the in-laws before they left.

It's only when I wipe, other than Saturday which I blame on running. It's usually pink or red but it's even been orange looking.

I go to the RE today for my first prenatal appt. I'm hoping to beg my way into an u/s even though I know transvaginal will make you spot heavier for a little while.

For those who don't know, this was the beginning of when I lost my angel in May so I'm trying to remain positive but it's REALLY REALLY hard to not let it get to me.

Well, the RE says the bleeding is coming from my cervix, it looks like I'm passing tissue. So I got my u/s without putting up a fight!! My cervix is closed and they can't find any active bleeding. I go for another u/s next week to check how bean is doing.
I'm measuring 5w6d right on schedule AND WE HAVE HEARTBEAT!! Little bean's heartrate was 94.

Keeping you and baby in prayer that all is well. I know many of the ladies here had some spotting at the beginning including myself. There are so many different reasons and mine was from a fibroid.

Let us know how it goes at the docs today, will be thinking of you and keeping you in my heart.

Unless you're a bigger woman, they may be able to find something on a regular U/S. They had no problem seeing my twin (couldn't see the 2nd, was behind the 1st) on my first u/s, but they couldn't see the heartbeat, just hear it. And I'm not a small person.

Maybe if they'll do an u/s, get them to try and external (drink LOTS of water, the more you drink, the better) before trying the internal...

just a thought.

ETA: Good luck!

orange can be a sign of a cyst rupturing which can be totally normal. as long as you're not cramping and passing clots you should be just fine.

I'll be thinking of you!

I spotted from 6w - 9w. sometimes it was bright red too. But babe is snuggled in there tight!

I'm sorry your spotting, hun!! That makes things so scary! Don't lose hope though, a lot of the girls spotted and are still carrying nicely stuck babies.

I was SO glad to see your update!!! That's awesome that you got to see your little bean, and that wonderful heartbeat!!!! I'll be keeping you and your little one in my thoughts thru next week. Sending tons of sticky dust your way!!!! Stick & grow, little one!!!!

I have to admit, I was worried when I opened this, but YAY for a heartbeat! It's awesome that you saw it technically before 6w! It's supposed to start beating at 6w, so it's great that you could already see it! I can't wait to hear about next week's u/s!
