There is a movie I've wanted to see for a long time now and I noticed it was playing on ABC family so I went ahead and recorded it. I watched it last night with DH. The movie was "The Notebook". I knew I was gonna cry, but with the new raging hormones, it was AWEFUL. I couldn't stop crying. I think I really needed a good cry though. I really did enjoy the movie though.

I'm glad I watched that movie w/o DH....so I could sob away in peace without him laughing at me for it!

I never watched the movie but I read the book and it was pretty good.

If you girls want a good cry I recomend "P.S. I love you" I cried from the begining to the end of the movie, dh was out of town so he couldn't make fun of me for it.

Oh, yeah, that movie is excellent! It made me cry like a baby, even w/ out being pregnant. The book is very good too. I don't need any help right now w/ the emotions though, I cry at the drop of a hat as it is. I'm staying away from sad movies, or even overly happy ones. Or actually most movies at all. I sobbed for over an hour after going to see The Dark Knight, just because it was Heath Ledger's last film and the character that he'll be remembered for (just struck me as really sad that he'll be famous for the character that drove him mad). I cry at emails, radio commercials, and most things on tv. Holy Moley, gotta love those pregnancy hormones!

Don't feel bad, I cried to The Simpsons once and I wasn't pregnant. I also cry to "Top Gun" every time I watch it.

You know, I read an interview with Gary Oldman about that, and he said that he adamantly refuses to believe that the Joke "drove him mad," like everyone speculates. He said that Heath was always extremely happy and cheerful and laughing between takes and always seemed so lighthearted (even fully made up) during filming that he really didn't think it was solely that role that did it.

It was probably the crazy schedule of filming two movies at once. He was filming "The Imaginarum of Dr. Parnassus" at the end of "The Dark Knight," and between the two couldn't sleep, and then got sick. And thus had several prescriptions. Imaginarium is actually Heath's last film and is due out sometime in 2009.

As for the Notebook, it made me cry, yes. But...all I remember now is how the sex scenes were just a bit too graphic for me, so I will never watch it again.

I watched it on ABC Family, so I think they cleaned it up a bit, but I got the impression that there was definitely some stuff cut out.
