I'm so excited for her!! YAY! Her husband had to run up to campus to get his assignments for today, and then he's going to get Myla up and then will bring her over here. So Myla is spending the day with me and Erin while her sister is born!
I'm so excited to finally meet this new baby!
Myla's daddy called a couple of hours ago while I was up on campus taking DH his lunch. At that time Aubrey's water had broken and she was at 8cm. He said that he'd pick Myla up and take her to the park when they had the baby and she and mama were settled. Hopefully I get a "the baby's here!" phone call, but you know how men are.
Anyway, if she hasn't been born yet it should be soon!!
She said that her contractions this time started harder/more intense than with her labor with Myla, so hopefully it's quicker this time. I'm not expecting an update for a long while, but I'm assuming that since she didn't call me and tell me that the hospital sent her home that they admitted her right away (she got sent home with Myla and was worried they would this time too).
She initially woke up with cntx at 4:40am, so she's been laboring for about 5 1/2 hours now.
How long did labor go for those of you who have had babies? I was induced both times, and the pit made it rather fast for both of them, so I'm trying to figure out what to expect...
