I hope that I am in the right spot to ask a question. I had a miscarriage (8 weeks along) on 12/02/05 confirmed by my doctor. On the 17th of December I started what I assumed to be my period. During this day I passed a small piece of tissue which I felt to be normal. However, though fairly heavy, my period only lasted 2 days. Within the last 2 weeks I have started noticing breast discomfort, nausea, moodiness, mild insomnia, etc. I'm desperately hoping that there is a possiblity of a new pregnancy. Can anyone relay any info or advice at all?

I really don't know if it's pregnancy you're feeling or just the surge of hormones returning to normal. And that first cycle after a MC, it's really hard to determine when and if you ovulated. I think you should call your doctor and see what he thinks. Sorry I couldn't be more help...

I agree. They say the first 3 cycles after a mc are pretty fertile times for a woman, but your hormones could very well be outta whack.

I had sore boobs, nausea on the onset of ovulation & just before AF started after my m/c's. It was so frustrating.

I agree with the other ladies--after a m/c, it's so hard to tell. Did you ever go back for a follow-up with your doc to make sure that the other pregnancy completely passed? 2 days seems awfully short...not to worry you, but maybe the other pregnancy never finished passing? Maybe I'm just hyper-aware...my husband's coworker's wife just had this happen and thought that she was pregnant again. Sorry...I just worry about people!

I do hope that this is a new pregnancy for you, having said all that! The only way to know, though, might be a checkup. (Levels might not say much because you were so recently pregnant and pretty far along.)

Good luck and let us know what you find out!
