When I was pregnant with DD I remember looking at high-end umbrella strollers and really not understanding why someone would ever buy one. Now, I have a toddler who refuses to ride in any stroller other than an umbrella stroller (and the jogger which is not practical for taking places), and I've already burned through a cheap umbrella stroller. So, I started researching and came up with Maclarens...but still couldn't bring myself to pay for one. I patiently waited until I found one on Craigslist...$45! I got it yesterday, it was dirty and a bit sun-faded...but I've already run it's seat through the washer and it cleaned up well. Mechanically it is in fine condition. I'm pretty excited about my find, if you couldn't tell Also, it is the Quest model, so it reclines which means I can use it for a little baby too....hopefully!!

Love the Maclarens. My favorite is the Spitfire. It's a special edition that just came out for the anniversary of the Spitfire. They have them on loan at Duxford's Air Museum. They really do last. I can't really justify spending £175 for a new one either.

That's a bargain you got there, well done!
