My u/s went great. The baby had grown an appropriate amount...its still a few days behind my calendar dates. So, I'm really only about 6 weeks 4 days. The heart rate was 125 today. Doc would like to see it higher still, but says that the fact that it went up 30 bpm in 5 days is a good sign. I check back for another u/s in 2 weeks.
My BFF came with me today since DH is out of town (I didn't want to be alone if it was bad news) and so did Cori. Cori was mimicking the whoosh whoosh sound of the heartbeat when we'd ask her what the baby said. It was so cute.

that is great !
just to let you know.....my first u/s with Katie was at 5 1/2 weeks, her heart rate was 121
my dr. was a little concerned also....by the next u/s it was in the 160's

Thanks ladies. I think I'll be hearing that whoosh whoosh whoosh all night in my head. DH still doesn't know about today, but he gets out of training in an hour or so and I can call him then. No one else knows I'm pg, but today I actually wished that more people did so I could tell them about my good appointment.....I guess that is a good sign.

Yay for a great appt. I am so glad that things went so well and now you get another excuse to see your little peanut again. I never get tired of seeing them in there. Will we get to see some pictures??
