So, the road to Jenny Lake was closed.

So we didn't get to visit. Luckily, DH had the foresight to call the park and ask about the roads before we left. We *did* go to the Yellowstone though, and actually got to see some animals we hadn't see before (bighorn sheep).

We went to the Grizzly and Wolf discovery center in West Yellowstone, MT, and Erin just loved getting to see the animals up close.

I'll post pictures when photobucket stops being stupid and lets me upload them.

So even though I was disappointed about not getting to go to Jenny Lake, it was still a really good day. And DH bought me another pair of the emerald earrings that I had lost. YAY! So now I have another pair of Cora earrings.

Cora would be 2 1/2 today. Where does the time go?

I'm happy to hear you had a great time but sad you didn't get to go to Jenny lake, I know it's very special to you. I can just picture Erin's little face enjoying seeing those animals up close.

and wow, can't believe Cora would be 2 1/2 already, time flies by too quickly hun.

Awe, I'm sorry you couldn't go to Jenny Lake. I'm glad that you did get to see some other beautiful scenery though, and see some different animals. I am envious of the beauty you are surrounded by there in Montana.

Anyhow, I thought it was very thoughtful that DH bought you a replacement pair of earrings. How sweet!

((HUGS)) I wish you had been able to get up there to Jenny Lake. I'm glad you were able to make it a fun day though. Oh, & congrats on the "prince". I bet DH is just delighted about getting a son!
