Nope...we didn't change anything last year and it was Makenna's 1st Christmas and we're not changing anything this year either. We're spending Christmas Eve with MIL & FIL (dinner and Christmas Eve Service) and then we're heading to my parent's house to spend the night and spend Christmas Day with them. We leave after dinner and head back to MIL & FIL's for dessert and gifts with DH's family (MIL, FIL, grandma, SIL & BIL and my niece and nephew. Then we get home around 10pm and chill a bit. We open our gifts to each other on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas in Canada).
It's busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love Christmas and that our families only live 45 min away from each other and we live in the middle of both of them.
We usually have Travis family down for Thanksgiving and mine for Christmas but it's just going to be us this year. The only changes aren't because of being pregnant but rather not wanting to visit anyone because of the cost of tickets now that we have to pay for Naden's too. I guess the only changes due to pregnancy are that I will be eating healthier than usual.
No change this year other than I get to be a happier person. I think next year will be when changes will happen. In that case, we probably will not spend as long at my parent/in-laws houses for Thanksgiving. (We stayed 3 nights this year.) I actually got a little miffed at my MIL joking that this year was the last we got to "have a life" around the holidays. Kind of weird b/c I know she is thrilled about having a grandchild.
If anything changes, it won't be until next year when the baby is here. In that case, baby and I will probably go to my parents for Christmas and DF will continue to go to his parents and then baby and I will head up to DFs parents sometime around new years
