I had a follow-up with my doctor today, the u/s showed that I had lost one of the twins, or it didn't really develop. There also showed a collection of fluid outside of the gest. sac, and that it could cause a second m/c for me. The u/s showed the same thing in July a week before my loss. Though she said the baby I have now is growing well ane the heartbeat looks good, I still do not feel at ease. She said the same thing after the first u/s I had after I had started spottingin July. I don't know if I am looking for advice or just want to share this, as I know many of you have been through this twice or more times as well, I don't know how I can go through it again right now.

I am so sorry that you've lost one of the babies. I'll be praying for you and hope that when you go in again that you can be reassured that the other baby is still healthy and growing well. Do you go back next week for the next checkup?

Many, many hugs and prayers coming your way.

I'm so sorry that you lost one of your babies! I know it's hard not to think the worst, but please try to stay positive. I just went through a scary incident and I know just how hard it is to stay positive, please try to hang on to the good things (including your growing baby and good heartbeat). I will keep you and your little one in my prayers. Please keep us posted!

I'm soo sorry that you lost one of your babies. I know that is such a hard thing to go through. It's hard to be happy that one baby has a chance at survival, and so sad that the other baby is gone. I will be hoping and praying everything will go OK for your other little one. And know that it has a beautiful angel watching over it.

i'm sorry one of the babies is gone. =( it's hard not to worry, but i know when you have symptoms that are the same as when you had a loss, it's hard not to worry. that happened to me this time, and i made it through. it's not always the same. good luck, hugs.

Linda is right - it is not always the same.
while pregnant with Thea i had some of the same bleeding and other problems that i had with my losses and yet i still ended up with a beautiful daughter!
hang in there - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your bean.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. I wish I could say something that would make it better, but all I can do is add my thoughts and prayers.
