I'd appreciated any input ladies...I've been cramping on and off for the past few days...but it hasnt been as bad as AF and it keeps switching from side to side...I thought at first it was my CL cyst but then it started switching up...I dunno...I have had NO spotting...CM is clear...nothing other out of the ordinary...

Thanks for your help ladies

Danielle I had cramping until about 10-12 weeks off and on. It was pretty much all over. It was like af, but I don't get bad af cramps anyway. So, they weren't just horrible. I hope they stop and it's just your bean in there getting cozy.

I had cramping up until this week which is my 6th week. It wasn't bad or anything just annoying and made me worry. I hope you get to feeling better and the cramping goes away soon.

I had cramps early on between weeks 5-7. They felt like AF cramps. The cramps were usually all over the place. Once I got into the 8th week, it stopped. I still get an occasional cramp here and there, but not as "bad" as earlier in my pregnancy.

I had cramping the entire 1st trimester and from weeks 11-14 I had spotting too.

In the beginning the cramping is your uterus adjusting, and it starts to do some rapid growth. It's very normal to have cramping especially in the beginning.

I had cramping, I can't remember exactly how long it lasted, but it wasn't all the way up until 12 wks. It stopped sometime before that, I do believe. It wasn't as bad as af cramps, but I have terrible af cramps. And just like you said yours has been, it seemed to switch from side to side. One side would be crampy, and then later on, or a day later the other side would be crampy. It will subside, I'm sure, hun!!

Sounds EXACTLY like my cramping during my 1st trimester. The switching sides threw me off too, but it obviously was perfectly normal.

I actually just got off the phone with a nurse from my dr's office for the same thing! She said that as long as the cramping wasn't severe that it is probably fine. I also had some increased discharge which she said is very normal. All she suggested was to increase water intake and to call back if the cramping intensified. She said if it was moderate to severe cramping it could be the start of an infection but you would probably have other symptoms.
Hope this helps a little bit- I know it made me feel a little better to hear it from a health professional than just off my random google searches for it

I had LOTS of cramping. Mine was mainly on my left side...the side that the corpus luteum(sp?) was on. I cramped pretty hard up until around 8 weeks. Then it pretty much went away. It was as bad as AF cramps most of the time.

Hope yours goes away soon....even though it's normal, it's scary
