I know that this might be a weird question, but I don't know how common it is for them to provide pictures or DVDs or whatever of the ultrasound. I forgot to ask my doc because I've just been so nervous. I've never been offered them before, or haven't gotten far enough for anything to really show. DH won't be able to go to my appointments with me...probably ever. I would love to have some record of its development for him! Do I just ask?

Take a vhs blank tape with you...they can record it for you. Also yes if you'd like a u/s pic and they don't offer ask for one. All the dr's I've ever had though usually offer but you never know.

Not all machines can record onto tape or DVD, but take a camera or video camera if you want it recorded. Like Norina said, most will offer you a picture, but if they don't, just ask!
