Hi ladies...i had my appt. with my RE today who was suppose to do a follow up on my surgery (he removed the septum that was causing my m/c's back in Sept.)...anyway I had to break it to him that he couldn't perform the sonohystogram because I was pg...then I closed my eyes and shrivled awaiting his response. He said, "well that's wonderful, let's take a look with the u/s"...I told him, "I thought you might scold me" and he said, "nah"...well then I told him what my OB said about nothing going in me until she scans me on the 25th...he laughed and said a u/c today would do absolutely no harm...so I said ok. Well he did the u/s...we couldn't see a hb because he said I was right on the cusp...5 3/4 weeks pg...and he said that is the VERY earliest you can see it so he said we might just be a few days too early. he said the yolk sac was perfect as well as the gestational sac. He said everything looked great and he's pretty positive I'll get the hdb on Wed when my OB does the u/s as long as she has a high resolution u/s machine. He placed me on progesterone and bab y asprin because he says he does thi sfor all his patients who have recurrent m/c's...he also said he wants me back in 2 weeks to take another look himself. He said he won't let me "graduate" from him until he is positive everything is ok. he says from the looks of the u/s the surgery seems to have done it's magic!
So here's to Wed...pray that I get a hb that day...it would make me feel sooo much better!

Thank God that we live in a day and age where your problem could be fixed. It's always good to have two caring doctors in your corner, even if you are "cheating" . Sounds like things are going to be great with you and your bean.
