I knew it was going to be a long one, since we had to start from scratch with the paperwork and everything, but I wasn't expecting it to be 3 hours! But it was for a good reason.
I'm good, and baby's good. I'm dilated 1cm already! Woohoo!
So they decided with my history that I should have a biophysical profile ultrasound and NST done today. We're going to be doing it again every Tuesday with my regular appointments until I deliver, and then on Fridays I'll be going in for an NST by itself. It felt good to be so taken care of (it feels a bit overboard, but I'm NOT going to argue!) without any argument at all.
Did you talk to your doctor about an induction? Just wondering what you had decided about that!?!?[/b]
No, I didn't actually. With as crampy/contractiony as I've been lately and the fact I'm already starting to dilate, I don't think I'll make it to my due date, let alone go over! =Þ
DH still wants me too. I think he's more frightened of labor than I am! He was going on and on yesterday about "what if you go into labor while I'm at work, and it'll take me an hour to hour 1/2 to get home..." (he takes the train)
I just laughed at him and told him that it'll take me more than an hour to have a baby. And he could always take a Taxi or something.
