I knew it was going to be a long one, since we had to start from scratch with the paperwork and everything, but I wasn't expecting it to be 3 hours! But it was for a good reason.

I'm good, and baby's good. I'm dilated 1cm already! Woohoo!

So they decided with my history that I should have a biophysical profile ultrasound and NST done today. We're going to be doing it again every Tuesday with my regular appointments until I deliver, and then on Fridays I'll be going in for an NST by itself. It felt good to be so taken care of (it feels a bit overboard, but I'm NOT going to argue!) without any argument at all.

And they gave me pictures!

So, long appointment, but good day!

That's great - It sounds like you have found a good OB, and I'm really happy for you! Patrick's pics are great too!

Glad you had a good appt, but sorry it was so long!

The pics are super cute

Did you talk to your doctor about an induction? Just wondering what you had decided about that!?!?

YAY for finding a good doctor

No, I didn't actually. With as crampy/contractiony as I've been lately and the fact I'm already starting to dilate, I don't think I'll make it to my due date, let alone go over! =

DH still wants me too. I think he's more frightened of labor than I am! He was going on and on yesterday about "what if you go into labor while I'm at work, and it'll take me an hour to hour 1/2 to get home..." (he takes the train)

I just laughed at him and told him that it'll take me more than an hour to have a baby. And he could always take a Taxi or something.

Famous last words, Brittanie. LOL. My sister's last labor, from first contraction to water breaking to holding my niece was 45 minutes!!!!! That was her third. LOL

Wowzers! 3hrs!!! I've had appointments where I'm there for that long but it's due to my OB delivering a baby (across the street at the hospital) and then waiting for her to play catch up.

Sounds like you're in good hands.
