Hi Ladies,

This is my first time posting in this section. I had a positive pg test on Thurs, actually I had 2 positive tests. Yesterday I took another test, and it was BFN! I FREAKED! Called the nurse she said to calm down, and I could get a blood test this am. I got the blood test at 0730. Nurse said they want my HCG to be at least 100. I came home from the test to brownish/pinkish spotting......DH and I are convinced we had a chemical pg. Do you all know anything about this? I have read a ton on it, but I am looking for personal stories. Does any of ths sound familiar, positive test, then a few days later a negative test, then brown spotting? I want to be pg so bad! After all this time of ttc, FINALLY it happens, just to have it taken away!

I have never had a chemical pregnancy, but I think some of the other ladies on here have. What were your HCG levels? 73?? the 0730 confused me because it looks like 730 to me...

Hi there! I know you must be so worried! Asuming you don't have your Hcg results back, your spotting sounds like implantation spotting. It happens when the embryo implants into the lining of the uterus, causing a litle bleeding. Brown blood is old blood and the pink is fresh. It's probably still ok at this point. Keep us posted on your situation! Good Luck!
