...I thought it really meant something. I've been having random contractions all day, that are starting to be painful. I've been pretty crampy too.

I think that it shouldn't be possible to get contractions unless you are, in fact, in labor.

Are you using that super cool contraction counter thingy??

You know for BTDT moms your contractions can be shorter and with longer increments to go to the hospital...since your labor will naturally progress faster than first timers...

Keep us posted!!!

No, I'm not using it, though I've pulled up the page a couple of times. They're not close enough together. I'm having maybe one an hour? And just general crampiness the rest of the time. I'm trying to decide if it's dehydration related because I've also been pretty sick today (DH brought home this cold/cough thing, and my stomach has been really upset, so I haven't managed to keep up on my liquid intake).

I'm kind of doing a wait-and-see sort of thing. I really don't think it's anything.

But maybe I should pack a bag just in case...........

Better safe than sorry

Have you tried getting up and moving around to see if they will kick-in? (or the opposite if we are trying to keep Mr Patrick in a bit longer)...With my 2 boys I had to have weekly NSTs the last 6 weeks of each pregnancy...and starting at about 35 weeks the monitor was picking up contractions I wasn't feeling...with Keegan (Ds2) I contracted off and on spontaneously for 2 days and then finally the night before I was scheduled to be induced we took Cam to the Crawfish Festival and I walked around for a few hours...by midnight I was in labor...

I'd definately at least have a bag packed and be prepared...

I've decided that I'll start taking Erin on walks on Monday. =p If we both feel better anyway.

I'm not sure whether I want him to come soon or if I'm trying to wait longer, because we still haven't resolved the funeral issue.

Brittanie - I know you are not feeling very well, and I'm sorry, but you have got me excited! Talk of packing bags and going on walks to speed up labor......I love it. I hope your time is soon, and I hope that all goes well with DH's grandfather.

Are you feeing any contractions today?

Definately pack that bag. This is your third child so the odds of him coming sooner could be very possible. You're pretty much full term now so if he's ready, he's ready.

This is it, you're in the home stretch and I can't wipe this happy grin from my face, I'm so excited for you.

I about getting your bag packed.

And as much as I liked your idea of not having any contractions until you are absolutely in labor, try to remember that this is your body's way of starting to get ready so that when you actually are in labor, it has a little less work to do!!!

I can't wait to meet Mr Patrick...I know it won't be too long now!!

Awwww, thanks for being excited for me ladies! It's helping me be a bit more excited.

Yep, still having random contractions this morning. They're not any more frequent or anything though.
