So, I'm not any more dilated today, but I am about 70% effaced and very soft. She said that as soon as he drops my cervix is ready to "get out of the way." lol

So....I'm ready, it's just a matter of baby boy being ready!

That definitely sounds like good news to me!

Have you decided against the induction?

I haven't actually talked to a doctor about it at all. I think I want to see what the next couple of weeks hold for me. I'm doing good now, and with the progress, I think I'll just wait until my body does stuff on it's own, kwim? With weekly ultrasounds and twice-weekly NSTs I'm not really all that anxious anymore (still a little, but it's nice to get to look at him so much!) We'll see what happens if I make close to my due date!

yay for progress!
you may not even have to make a decision about inducing if your body keeps gearing up and Patrick decides he is ready. i am so excited for you.
side-note: my weekly NST and u/s kept me sane at the end of my pregnancy too. it is very reassuring to see and hear baby so much.
