I'm going to the hospital, but not until I absolutly have too. I plan to labor at home for as long as possible.

Sam stole my answer.

I've toyed with the idea of other places, but with my family's history of emergencies in both mother AND baby, I'm just way too paranoid to not be in the hospital at the time.

I will be at the hospital on base...we have a brand new multi-million dollar Birthing Center on base (thanks to Hurricane Katrina)...with 7 LDRP rooms with flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi...I'm gonna try to do like Bobbie and keep you guys updated play-by-play

I will be in the birthing center that's within the hospital. It's a 3 bed unit with queen size beds and huge jacuzzi tubs! I am so excited (and our orientation is tomorrow night!!)

I'll be in the hospital too. Ours is fairly new too (it was brand new when Cori was born there), so it is a bit like delivering in a birth center with tubs and everything. Also, since I live in a small town I was the only one in labor when Cori was born so it was so quiet and mellow. Hopefully it will be the same this time. The downside, of course, is no NICU....so if anything crazy happens we get a helicopter ride to the city.

Hospital with my history of Pre-term birth and heart complications being possible, I wouldn't go any where else.

Hospital -- I'm anxious for the tour so I can see what ours looks like.

I am hoping for a home birth...with a hospital as a back-up of course! I know that I will be
disappointed if I don't end up with a home birth, but I am also pretty flexible and my midwives
err on the side of caution (which is good)- so we will see!

Hospital, but hoping to labor at home for awhile.

The only birthing center covered by my insurance is quite far away. Paying for one out of pocket or for a homebirth (which I wouldn't feel comfortable with anyway) is too expensive.
