I haven't signed up for any birth/breastfeeding classes yet! I need to get on that. I do want to see if a breastfeeding class is available. Especially since I am now seeing how hard it is for my sister. I never knew that breastfeeding could make your nipples bleed, and that scares me to death!!
I signed up for Birthing classes today and that includes a free breasfeeding class, so yes, I'm going. The brochure says "husbands encouraged to attend", so I'm wondering what DH will think of going to THAT class. I think I'm gonna make him go though.
Nope...I never did any classes when I was pg Makenna and I have no interest in taking any this time. I'm not one for learning in a group environment. So I went to the library and took out a few LLL videos and many books on BF'ing, and various L&D books from across the spectrum. I was well informed and BF for almost 13 months before she self weaned.

I dragged my DH to classes 2 and 3 of my breastfeeding class, mainly because the instructor said that husbands should come, and every one else's husband was there. We did it with his best friend and his wife. He REALLY didn't want to go, but then when all was said and done, I was glad that he went. He would remember stuff that I didn't and was able to help me get er on correctly and stuff. I just asked him if he was glad he went with me, and his relpy was "I guess".
