Dustin was fired from his job on Friday. They were missing a guy on another shift, and he was working extra days every week. He was called last Saturday and asked to work on Sunday, when Sunday came he was exhaused and used a vacation day to call in. He was told this past Friday that he was not allowed to do that, and it put him over his points(they work on points system for attendance), And was terminated. He was a supervisor, and he is really hurt, yet disapointed in himself for not knowing the process, of using vacation days on extra days.
I am currently on unemployment, and very very scared. They have an appeals process, and he is working on that now..without much hope.
Nathan is teething, has a fever and cold with congestion..so if you dont see me around..I have a little more on my plate than I can chew at the momment, and I am struggling not to get depressed. To have hope that even in this failing economy my family will survive.
Thanks Nami for my beautiful siggy!
Oh man that sucks. I remember DH got fired the day they released me from the hospital right before Benjamin was born. It was awful. We had no money and I was so scared, but he found something else and things worked out. At the time it was really scary though so I totally understand. I really hope everything works out for you and DH either gets his job back or finds something even better.
Oh honey, I'll be praying for you and your family that things will work out!! You're probably so scared right now. Take the time you need to take care of yourself and your beautiful boy, and we're here whenever you need us!
"If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it." This may not give you much relieve but really concentrate on it and it will truly make you feel better. I am wishing you and your family the best of luck. Try not to stress out (I know , easier said then done!) becuase your little man can sense it even it you think that you are doing a great job at hiding it. Stick with eachother and be as supportive as possible and there is no question that your family will make it through and end up even stronger.
