This cramping is totally freaking me out. My doctor (and the Internet), oh and everyone I talk to says it's normal to have cramping, as long as it's not accompanied by bleeding. It's still making me sooo nervous just because of the loss in December. I don't remember the cramping as much last time. I just want to be out of the first trimester already! Or at least see the heartbeat so I can relax a little!

It's normal to be scared of cramping, I know I panicked a few times and called the Dr.

I had cramping too, which made me very nervous. Now a few days later I don't have any cramping...that's making me nervous too I am waiting too for the ultrasound to see (hopefully see) a heartbeat, I have 10 more days to go.

The dr. said it is normal to cramp, and I did have the same symptoms w/ my other 2 children as well. The uterus grows much faster than the baby in preparation.

That definitely makes me feel better! I knew that I was going to be a nervous wreck but I didn't think it would be this bad. Every time I go to the bathroom I'm worried I'm going to be spotting or bleeding. Thanks for the reassurance!

Cramping was one of the first signs of pg for me both times. It is normal and perfectly OK. PAL is so hard, I still TP watch everytime I go to the bathroom.

If it makes you feel better...if there is any doubt call your OB!

I had cramping/spotting/bleeding and everything is going great! Just because there is any of that does not mean you are going to lose the baby.

I get horrible cramps in the first trimester, I know it's really hard not to worry - but like you said, as long as it's just cramps, no bleeding.... You are ok.

I agree hun, it is very worrying! I had cramping for a while in the very early stages and it sort of tapered off. I still get cramps every now and again but my midwife says it is just everything stretching x

My first ultrasound hasn't been scheduled yet. The nurse said probably around 8 weeks. It can't come soon enough! A friend of mine is an OB Nurse Practitioner (not here of course) and keeps telling me not to worry so much. I just can't help it!
