Well after my u/s on Monday the tech told me that the radiologist would review the pics and videos and would notify my doc if there was anything abnormal...well of course...I got a phone call today...
Dr Gray says the radiologist noted an intracardiac echogenic foci (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echogen...acardiac_focus) ...basically Kennedy has a "bright spot" on her heart...this is a soft marker for chromosomal abnormalities...she did verify that it was the ONLY abnormality found...and that she truly believes that we more than likely don't have anything to worry about...
She offered me the quad screen again...she said if I did it and the results came back normal than I almost guaranteed have nothing to worry about...but I really don't want that testing because it is SOOOOO unreliable...
I do have to schedule a more advanced u/s with the maternal/fetal specialist though...she said her nurse will probably be calling me in a week or so to schedule that appt...I have to be at least 22 weeks for that one (which is 3 weeks from tomorrow)...
Dr Gray is such a great doctor...she kept reassuring me that it is a way overdiagnosed finding (that normally if its the only finding and the maternal age is <35 most rads don't even report it)...but our rad puts EVERYTHING in his reports...she told me that if I start to freak out to call her back anytime between now and my appt and she will reassure me again...
So...any prayers are welcome...and I promise I'm going to stop googling...eventually...
(Boys' birthdays are backwards...lol)

I'm sorry that you have something additional to worry about, Danielle. Between your doc being very reassuring and the stats in that article, though, it sounds like it is most likely nothing. In fact, I bet lots of us have had similar things that the rad/tech/doc just didn't even mention.
and do your best not to think about it right now, there isn't anything you can do anyway.
Worring is completely understandable....but you do you lots of positives to focus on. you are under 35, and there were no other markers for chromosomal problems. PLUS you get to have another u/s! It's always nice to get to see your lo again. I know that your worring won't go away until your next u/s though...I know mine didn't and it was a similar case(cyst on the brain was our only marker for chromosomal issue)
I hope you get a very healthy report at your next u/s.
Oh, Danielle!! I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry to much right now. Wait to see what the findings are at your next u/s with the specialist, OK. I'll be praying that every thing is absolutely fine with Miss Kennedy!!
Lots and lots of prayers that you get the all-clear at the next U/S!
(And step away from Google ...I did that when our first U/S showed some possible kidney questions. I had to stop because it just served to worry me more until the day that we found out everything was just fine!!)
