Well, with Lily and Jordan I used a carrier kinda like the one here:

I found it very uncomfy and didnt like using it really. I would like to try a sling type carrier this time, but I am confused by all the ones available

I'm going to use one. I carried DS in my sling until he was just over 3. He loved being in there, and I loved having him so close.

I used a ring sling and would definitely recommend it. The brand was Over the Shoulder Baby Holder.

I didn't really use one with either of the boys...but I have a feeling I may need my hands freed up a little more with Kennedy AND her brothers

I'm thinking of trying the Moby wrap...but I'm not sure yet

I have an Ergo that I use with DD (2 1/2, 25 lbs). I carry her on my back, of course. DH loves it too. I have a Bjorn with back support, which I used lots with DD, but don't see myself using it as much with this one, I'll probably use the Ergo and Moby more. I made myself a Moby, which is incredibly easy to do, for the newborn stage. I really would love a Beco, but they are so expensive that I don't know if I'll get one.

I had a ring sling and a Moby Wrap, but I sold the ring sling. I love my Moby Wrap though and can't wait to use it again.

I'm 3/4 of the way through making a mai-tei and want to finish it before the baby arrives. I have a sling and carrier from previous children and will use them however I like the look of the mai-tei better. I don't use anything but carriers since I hate infant carseats and need something that I can nurse while shopping. (Never fails that feeding time and shopping time always collide).

I'm sure I'll get quite a collection. I'll make myself a few wraps and ring slings, and I'll buy a ergo, a mei tai (or two), and a pouch sling or two. I also want a sling that is safe in the water. I plan to get a few DH is willing to use- probably 1 pouch and the ergo will be in colors he is cool with.
