We have central air, and I recently turned it on. It's just that her window is south-facing and her naptime is at 2pm...right when the sun comes in the hottest. I should get her some sleeping shorts or something for her naps.
oh poo! That is horrible to clean up!And I so should not be laughing, sorry. Instead of pants you could look into getting a good dieper cover that she can't remove- that way her legs can still be bare. You can put them right over a disposible diaper.
(*and I can't believe she is 1yr9m- she looks older then that in your siggy photo.... she's got a long body)

I am proudly a homebirthing, excluively breastfeeding from the tap, constantly babywearing, bed sharing, attached mama to a high needs baby. He is a part time diaper-free baby!
oh my! they don't warn you about poop-smearing posibilities in any of the parenting manuals - maybe they should! It's only funny to think of her doing it...the part where you see her room as a HazMat site and have to scrub it down, now i'm not laughing. But you're a great mommie - i think you just earned another merit badge! HUGS
