I'm so frustrated right now. I'm so early into this pregnancy and I've been having spotting 3 out of the last 4 days. I explained to the doctor's office time and time again that I should be on some sort of blood thinner and no one will listen!

I'm truly afraid that this pregnancy is coming to an end.

I've been waiting for the office to call me back for an hour and a half now. The nurse called once and said she would talk to the dr and call right back . . . 90 minutes ago.

if they havent called back, go to the ER. The doctor on call should get you started on thinners if they are necessary. I HATE when docs dont call back GRRR

I really hope your OB listens to you if you do need to be on blood thinners. On the other hand, my OB and RE both have told me that bleeding is normal in pregnancy UNLESS it's accompanied by clots and/or pain. Hope you get your answers soon.

Thank so much for letting me vent! I really needed that.

The nurse did eventually call me back, but it was easily an additional 45 minutes that I waited. She said that the doctor wants to wait until my u/s on Tuesday before starting the Lovenox. They want to be sure that the pregnancy is viable first.

So . . . again I wait. At least I'm feeling really sick today, and that is a good sign!

Yeah for feeling sick.
I'm glad they are going to get you on a blood thinner.

That is really hard when the docs don't listen. And then to have you spotting and not want to do an ultra sound right away always frustrates me. It would be so much easier on us if we knew right away. Not a week later, or what have you... I really hope everything turns out okay. Hopefully things will be fine. If it gets ANY worse, skip the OB and go right to the ER, they will usually do an ultra sound if you have any problems.... Good luck!
