I'm so mad and frustrated and just uggggh! People!! We lost out son because he had no limbs - at all. Not even stubs. Just a head on a torso - so his quality of life would be non existent. Dr after Dr, specialist after specialist told us it wasn't worth it to continue the pregnancy because it wouldn't be fair to him. After we lost him we were told there is a great chance that we have a 25% chance of recurrence. Now I'm pregnant again and in 2 days I go in for my ultrasound to make sure the baby has limbs this time, and I'm sooo freaking out! I'm stressed to the max. I'm so freaking tired of people telling me "oh don't stress out it's bad for the baby! just relax" ..... AS IF!! You try being 11 weeks pregnant with a baby you want more than ANYTHING in the world knowing that in 2 days you could be told to have a freaking abortion!! It's stressful!! I'm just so sick of people that don't understand thinking they are being helpful by telling me not to worry about it... this is my CHILD that could DIE in two days...... THAT'S FREAKING STRESSFUL!!! I even tried to explain that to the person and still she's being a ****** telling me 'she understands, but its not worth it to stress' .... it's not a choice whether im stressed or not. It just IS. Im so scared!

oh hon, I am so sorry you are going through this. I couldn't imagine going through that. After any loss someone stresses. It's absolutely normal. I will say a prayer for you this week that things go ok. KUP. I will be thinking of you

Thank You everyone!! Man its nice to be around people that Understand...that girl is still being a major ****** - so I gave up - she thinks she's right in saying "You have the right to WORRY but stressing out isn't doing anyone ANY good!" ....... lmao.......she doesn't understand that it isn't as easy as 'stop stressing' ...... If it was, I would!! I think if ANYONE were in my position right now they would be stressed the heck out!

Okay, wait, there's a difference between worrying and stressing? Really?

Tanya, I wish you a little bit of peace over the next couple of days, if it's possible. Lots of thoughts and prayers for you that this baby will be in the 75% chance of perfection.

Wow, not only is it normal and expected that you would be stressed but it would be almost abnormal not to be! Don't know what that girl was trying to say, but to h*ll with that....

Sending you lots of positive vibes!!

It's completely normal to be feeling the way you do, and it has to be so hard to go though what you went though last time and then be told that there is a 25% chance that it could happen again. Of course you are stressing. I would be too.

I do hope that you find a beautiful, happy, and healthy baby during your u/s tomorrow. You only have one more day of waiting, and I hope it goes by fast for you. Lots of HUGS!!

I don't post in here often but this really upset me. If you weren't stressed out I would be worried that perhaps you weren't a human being. Of course you are going to stress out!!! Anyone in your situation would.

That being said you have more important things to worry out then this women that obviously doesn't have a heart of her own. Don't give her another thought, she obviously has some Grinch-like qualities if she can't sympathize on how you are feeling.

Two days of worrying is not going to hurt your baby. I am so sorry to hear about your first baby and I will be praying that this baby is very healthy. Good luck hun. I'll be lurking to see how everything goes.
