I don't get them every day but at least twice a week. They hurt, I have to deep and slow breath through them. And they come out of nowhere. I was grocery shopping the other day and they started at first one would come and then a few minutes later the next would come and would hurt a little more than the first ones. Then like every minute I would get them and they would have me nearly doubled over. The whole ordeal usually lasts maybe less than 10 minutes but it is scary because I always think OMG what if THIS is it and its way too early.
My case is even more annoying because I have uterine fibroids and the last u/s (before yesterday) the doc said it was pressing up against the placenta. He says sometimes the fibroid will cause the pain and sometimes it will be BH....
I just hope it does not cause any problems with the placenta....I may have it removed after the baby because it is growing. In fact I wonder if that is why the baby is only 8 oz's, maybe the fibroid is stunting the growth or something. My appointment March 2nd is when we go over the u/s results with my doc, hopefully the fibroid was not a factor *the tech did not tell me any info other than showing me some body parts*
I have fibroids. Never knew it until I was pregnant with #1 and they found them on the big u/s. They shrink after you deliever. It is the hormones of pregnancy that can cause them to grow. I've never had a problem with them with my pregnancies. I know one of mine was 4 cm.
