are you having any testing done during your pregnancy?
if so, what kind?
have you had some done already?

I had the NT (nuchal translucency test), and quad screening, but that was all

I haven't done any of the extra testing with this pregnancy.
So far I am really not considered high risk so there is no need. If I were a few years older it would be a different story.

I have refused all testing. This is because I have heard so many stories of people getting false results and I didnt want that worry and stress.

The only kind of testing I will be having is my ultrasounds, and a Gestational diabetes test later on x

I initially declined all testing...but after my 18wk u/s found the EIF...and after TONS of research and long talks with my doc I did the quad screen...and thank G-O-D I did...that helped my sanity out so much in the long run...then I had an advanced Level II u/s...and I think I have to do the GD test at my appt in May...

The only testing to this point that I have declined was Cystic Fibrosis...

We did the NT scan with both blood work ups . Both came back normal. I would have done the amnio if it didn't. I'd rather be prepared for a disability than not know until birth.

I plan on doing the NT screening/quad and go from there. If my dr. recommends amnino based on the results of those tests I will have one, I would prefer to be prepared before the birth than after.

We done the NT, blood work on me, and I will have plenty on ultrasounds.
Ultrasounds can detect so much alone.

i'm honestly not sure what type of testing my OB will recommend, but since i'm 36 (37 when delivering) i'm sure there's a whole slew of tests they'll want to do. I want to get OB's thoughts on each before we decide, but i'm not opposed to any (although I'm a bit afraid of the amnio since it carries a small m/c risk).

I've had the NT Scan and the Quad Screen. I am soooo glad I had them done. Eased my mind. I won't do the CVS or amnio, too invasive for me.
I'll have the GD test done and another genetic u/s at around 20 wks.
At my age, I'll do the tests that are recommended so that I can best prepare myself for this PG and the baby.
I haven't been PG in almost a decade...they can do sooo much more than they used to. Amazing.

I did the QUAD test, GD Test, and have had lots of u/s. I'm glad I did the QUAD test...It helped ease my mind about spina bifida problems, and then when they found the cycst, it helped ease my mind about the Trisomy 18.

Let's see I've had blood disorder tests, I just had the Nuchal Screening and the blood work with that. I go back in 2 weeks to do the 16 week work up. I will have a level 2 u/s in 4 weeks. And I think that is it from there, unless something comes up.

I haven't had any extra testing besides U/S. Too many false positives for me...

Just an u/s and will get a gd test, thats all.
I had the quad screen with my first, and it came back as a 1 in 11 chance, and stressed the hell outta me, so I don't need that this time (and he is fine).

I didn't have any extra blood tests done. I DID have a biophysical profile ultrasound once a week for the last four, and NSTs twice a week though.
