So I breathed a slight sigh of relief today. I went to my family doctor just to basically let her know that I was pregnant and talk to her a little bit. She is an amazing doctor and seems like your talking to a good friend rather than your doctor. Anyway, She said she was going to schedule an early ultrasound for the next couple of days just to confirm how far along I am. I will find out tomorrow when it is. I also got everything set at the High Risk Pregnancy - Maternal Fetal Medicine department at my hospital. I have a phone appointment to get my medical history next Wednesday and on May 11th I have my first appointment.
I got to talk to my OB I did pre-conception counseling with about being pregnant after only 3 months. She said that she wanted me to wait 6 months for emotional reasons. She said that I will be watched so closely throughout my entire pregnancy and that everything will turn out perfectly.
So thats whats going on with me! We haven't told too many people...just my parents and a couple of my close friends. I am not sure when I am going to tell everyone else...probably in a couple months when I can't hide it anymore.
I am so excited though, DH is freaked right out that we will go through this again with a bad ending again...He wasn't ready for this pregnancy quite yet and said he is soooo scared but excited too.
I'm so glad that everything seems to be going well for you! Exciting about the ultrasound. Exciting and scary. I always got so anxious before an ultrasound, but I was glad to be having them. I'm glad you're going to be taken care of so well!!
