I have been lurking around this room and decided to finally post as I hope to get some support in my feelings of being pregnant after a loss.
I am pregnant with my second child, due 11/16/09. I was pregnant in July of 2007 but sadly that pregnancy was diagnosed as a molar pregnancy. I had to have a D&C as well as wait one year to TTC due to the complications a molar pregnancy can create.
So here I am, pregnant again but scared to death! I have already had several doctor appointments and ultrasounds. We got to see our little bean and heard his/her heart beat at about 7 weeks at 160!!! Though I know that is a reassuring sign I just can't get over the feeling that something may go wrong again. It seems that once you have suffered a loss the reality of it happening again is hard to get over.
Anyway, sorry for the long post ladies. I have had a lot of anxiety these last few days and it felt good to get it out. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
Im sorry to hear of your loss hun, but congrats on your pregnancy! I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months! Well, its less than 9 months now
I agree with you, after suffering a loss/or losses the reality of it happening again is very hard to get over. But the ladies here are brilliant and very supportive of one another. They have helped to keep me sane lol
My first weight loss goal is to lose 21lbs, which is 10% of my body weight
i'm very sorry for your loss - molar pregnancies i know come with special complications (and worries) so you've found a great place to get support throughout your current pregnancy. welcome to the group!
