To what extent are BH OK? I have been having cramping in my lower abdomen mostly with some pain in my upper uterus and lower back since 2 PM yesterday. It is not intense pain at all, just uncomfortable. It is not consistant either. I might have 10 or so in a hour and then 1 or 2 the next hour. It's just almost been 24 hours of constant bh. When is it time to call the Dr?

I'd say...if you are resting, drinking water, and not overall very active and they are still strong enough to aggravate you...then I'd at least give a call to your docs office...but if with the rest they slow down or go away then you are good...

My doc told me if I have more than 5-6 in an hour to sit down and rest...if after another hour I am having 5-6 to come in...if they slow down or stop then I'm good...

Keep us posted!!!

Yeah. I would say a call is probably in order, just in case. I have been having them consistantly since 16 weeks in the evenings. I don't even count anymore but I def. get more than 5 an hour...mine always stop when I get up in the morning though so I think it is normal for me. Since yours have just appeared, I would be a little more nervous- especially if they are not stopping...
It is probably fine, but doesnt hurt to be sure I guess. Good luck, hope they have already stopped!

I'm sorry I didn't reply yesterday when you first asked, Sam! How are you doing today? Did you end up calling your dr?

I agree with Danielle. I had them pretty constant and consistent too. Here's the thing, just like Danielle said, if you have more than 5-6 in an hour, stop whatever it is your doing and sit down and rest, drink I think 2 big glasses of water (I can't remember the exact reccommended amount). If you continue to have 5-6 more in that hour, then it's time to call. I actually never did that because I had them so bad. I timed them, and waited a couple hours; but mine were coming consistently 4ish minutes apart before I called. If your BH start to have any kind of rythm (sp?) then definitely call.

I hope you are well today!!
