My doc's appointment today went well. It was the "fun" one with a finger prick for iron, an internal (I normally don't get them, but figured I should find out if my contractions were doing anything) and group B strep testing. Doc says I'm not dialating, which is good. He still wants me to lay pretty low for the next 5 days, however, and he said after that we won't worry about it as much. I'm not worried about it at all now that I know these contractions aren't doing anything.

Glad to hear your little girl is going to bake a little longer

Take it easy and hope the contractions ease up!

that is good that they aren't causing you to dilate yet. now you can try to relax and patiently wait for the arrival of your LO (yeah right). i can't believe you are over 35 weeks, seems like time has flown.

That's good news, Kelly. I'm glad to hear that it sounds like Juliana will bake a little while longer. I know all about the "fun" appointment as that was exactly me yesterday. I got poked twice for my blood draw (i'm always a hard stick). I came hope and told my husband, "I've been vampired and violated all in one appointment".

I hope the contractions let up for you soon.
