I cant stop worrying or thinking about it so i'll put it down here, Is it possible that some other medical condition could cause your HCG to show a positive on HPT's I had my d&c as you know on march 27th and on april 14th or 15th my last blood draw showed a level of 7 so it was definetly going down. But this week I tested positive on diferent types of testes.. FRER, digitals, cheapies. Could cancer or tumors or something weird cause pos HPT's? Im scared sicne its been so soon after my d&c (6 weeks since then) 7 weeks since on this coming up friday. Im guessing its a normal pregnancy since I have some breast symptoms (tingling) etc.

Sorry I feel dumb now I have all these things rushing thru my brain right now about all these unreal possibilities

oh hun
its perfectly natural to feel scared and think the worst. i remember how i was when i got my bfp just 4 weeks after my previous one which i lost.
im sorry i cant answer your questions and it really is just a case of waiting for your results but i wouldnt worry too much. you have had too many bfps after it became neg for it to be that.

xx

There is a such thing as a Molar pregnancy...which is where a pregnancy produces cancer type cells and it has to be terminated...BUT...just because there is such a thing does NOT mean that is what is happening with you...if your hCG dropped fast enough to stimulate ovulation and you are now getting BFPs I would say you have a VERY good chance of having a perfectly normal and healthy pregnancy...the only reason most docs recommend a waiting period after a loss is for dating reasons...plus most do early first tri u/s these days for dating purposes...

As hard as it is...try to relax until you can get in to see your doc and get some bloodwork or an u/s done...

Please keep us posted!!!

thanks ladies, I did have my d&c due to what my doc thought was a molar pregnancy, when pathology returned their verdict they said they found a very very tiny bit of molar tissue but not enough to even classify it as a partial mole which is very rare, So they checked my levels and they were going down great and last reading i had was 7 so i must have o'd a week or two after that, I would have gotten a positive result from that dya on ifsomething else was wrong and the levels kept rising. but i got negatives a few weeks back. i'll keep you posted tomorrow.

Most likely you are pregnant. I got pregnant 4 wks after a 7 wks loss and two weeks after a chemical. I feel you are pregnant. I know it's hard not to worry(I'm 21 wks and still worry) but make your appointment for the Dr. for blood test.

to Danielle. There are other things that could be going on, which is why you really need to have doc confirm. BUT, odds are you are having a new pregnancy. The time frame is right (I got pg this time exactly 6 weeks after my d&c) and you are having symptoms as well. I know it isn't easy to relax about it, so hopefully you can get blood drawn soon and ease your mind.

I've heard so many stories of women being pg right after a loss. Sounds to me like you're expecting. Obviously, ask your doc to confirm so that you get all the answers and calm your worries. KUP
