I've got no real reason to be -

Heading off to the Ob this afternoon for my first visit - i was told he does an u/sound at this visit. I'm so scared that something has gone wrong. I'll be there alone as DH has to work in the opposite direction and won't have time to get back.

I lost my last bub at 8w2d (and I'm 8w today). This time I've had absolutely no spotting, or anything else to suggest that something is wrong. Last time I spotted and bled for 3 days beforehand.

With DS2 I also spotted around this time, on and off for a week or so, before that settled down and morning sickness kicked in. He's 12 on Friday.

Just so scared that something has gone wrong . Trying to take it all one day at a time.

good luck with your appt today...try not to worry (i know it's hard/impossible not to)...hopefully everything is going perfectly - do you get a u/s at this appt? it helps to get to see the little one and seeing the hb is always reassuring.

mollycat, heaps and heaps of good luck for your appt today I know all too well how stressful those early ob visits are, I was a basket case before each one of mine and TBH with you I still get a little stressed when I go to see him.

Good luck!

Mollycat - I am so happy for you! How wonderful that everything is going well. We all know what it is like to stress (I had a terrible experience last week) but I am so over the moon it all went well. This one is a sticky one!
