Well the Dr wasn't very happy that I decided not to have the amnio but he was in there almost the whole time of the U/S. The tech said she couldn't tell what Piglet was but the Dr. said he knew and would be back to tell her if she didn't know. She still couldn't tell after he left, when he came back he told her there were three great shots of the gender and he knew right off the baby was a................................................. ............

GIRL!!!!!

We don't have the money shot this time. DH and I both saw the three lines. I'm thrilled but a little more scared. Six years ago on May 14 we lost or first little girl. The baby looks great and is very active. They did find out the bleeding wasn't from around the cervix but a Subchronic Hemorage(spelling). It's still there but he thinks I won't have any new bleeding just old.
I'm still not going to tell our families until June when we have our next U/S, I have this fear that Norah will be treated better than the boys.

Congrats on the girl! I'm glad they found the cause of the bleeding. Hopefully you won't have anymore. I know you're scared, but we are all here for you.

Keep up on the monitoring of the SCH, they can be more severe than the docs realize and those that start or stick around after 20 weeks are more rare and troublesome.

But congrats on the girl!

I am getting u/s every 3-4 wks due to being high risk, he said he is going to watch it closely. I was told to continue to take it easy and not to lift anything that weighs more than a gallon of milk. The SCH is right above the cervix and the placenta is at the top of my uterus.
Alicia, it does worry me a bit since I have never had bleeding this late, but I am trying not to freak out unless I bleed again.
I'm terrified of losing my baby girl.
