OK, so i had a phone call today from my dr's receptionist saying that my urine test came back negative from the hospital, so i took another hpt straight after and it's clearly positive, 3 positives cant be wrong right?

I think maybe the hospital's tests arent as sensitive as hpt's...

Anyhoo, i gotta take another wee sample to the dr's monday, but i go see my midwife moday too, will my midwife do a blood test, it will be my first appointment with her.

Thanx.

Jade

Well - I'm sorry you have to wait for Monday for the blood test, but I will be rooting for excellent news!

I dont understand why they didn't do a bloodtest in the first place. They always did with me. Good luck with your appointment.

Hopefully they'll do a blood test this time.

They always did urine tests on me too tho...

The first appt they usually weigh you, do blood pressure, ask about your LMP, prescribe prenatals and sometimes do a pelvic exam & pap, tho not always.
