As I get closer to the half-way point, I realize how many worthwhile, but sometimes difficult things we do/give up when we're pregnant. I am enjoying this PG (except the worry, or course). I love to feel the baby move. The u/s appointments are awesome. Hearing my little one's h/b is totally worth it. I can't wait to hold my baby, and I feel so totally blessed. But, there are a few things I can't wait to do after the baby arrives.
1. Coffee (real coffee, not brown water) in the morning.
2. Allergy meds (the ones that work really well for me, but aren't allowed in PG)
3. working out (I'm limited right now because of my age and some of the discomfort from carrying the baby really low)
4. A glass of wine at dinner. MMMMmmmmmmerlot!
Please don't get me wrong. I'd never trade this time! But, I miss a few things. How about you? Am I alone?
I do miss my wine and margaritas (not at the same time!). And dieting. Not that dieting is fun, but it would be nice to not have so much of me to haul around on top of pg weight. I had lost 17 lbs when I got pg, so I was getting pretty motivated.
Girl you crap me up
I'll tell you something, I just started drinking coffee a couple of weeks ago, which means that I waited almost 3 months for that.
I haven't even started working out, because I have no time now that I'm back to work, before that we would go for 45 min walk that was my workout
oh and drinking....well nothing so far, I know that I can breastfeed and have a beer (don't drink wine) but i rather not do it, I figured that I have gone a year without drinking, what's a couple of more months, right?
