Cecil had his 2-week check-up today. Everything with our little man is doing good. He still measure 20.5" which is in the 48th percentile, and he now weighs 6lbs 15oz,which is in the 8th percentile, but the Dr. says as long as he is gaining weight it's fine. He also has a blocked tearduct, so we are having to put ointment in his eye 3X daily, and the Dr thinks that there is a possibilty for the jaundice to return...cecil is looking just a little bit yellow again, but nothing bad at all right now.
Sorry for not posting much, hopefully as I get the hang of being a mommy I'll be able to post more later...I will try to post Cecil's birthstory this week though.
Here's a few more Cecil Pics (I LOVE taking pics of him!!):
Oh, he's absolutely perfect!!! I'm glad to hear that he is gaining weight. When you learn to juggle the mother thing and posting and all the other stuff, let me know your secret... I have a feeling I'm going to need LOTS of advise.
Sam, he's adorable.
Have the doctor told you to put him near a window that gets sun? I'm asking because that's what Alex pediatrician told us to do, he was a little yellow when he was born. I understand the trying to get the hang on being a mom, it's so hard, are you breastfeeding or doing formula?
Awwww, what an adorable little man he is!!! Good to hear he's gaining weight! He was early, he's going to be on the small side for a while, but he'll catch up, hun. It's pretty normal, but it sounds like he's doing good. I hope the jaundice clears up, and his little tear duct too!
