Hey everyone, I'm home....we're testing out a pill form of percoset to see if that will allow me to be at home instead of hospitalized. I was starting to get bummed in the hospital cause everyone else there was having babies! My contractions started up really strong this morning and I was sure something was happening, but no dialation. So doc thinks the kidney problems may be causing me to contract as well. I feel so bad for all of the drugs my poor little baby has been exposed to. The doc did tell me that if we can't get the pain under control, it may be better to just induce so that we can treat my kidney problems more aggressively. I'd love to have her out and know she is safe and not getting so many drugs, but an induction now would almost certainly mean no natural birth for me. Why oh why do my kidneys hate me so much?

Oh, by the way, if I ever write any posts on here that don't make any sense....percoset .

Kelly,
I'm so glad you got to go home. I know how much you are looking forward to a natural birth. I hope you can still get it. The timing of all these kidney problems is just so annoying. I'm sending you some dialation vibes so maybe you can get this started without induction. Keep us posted... not too much longer now!
