I went to a garage sale this morning and I got a stoller and carseat combo that looks brand new... It was only used a few times at the grandparents house.. I also got a double breast pump all for $40.. I just could not believe it..
Buying these things makes me really nervous . I have started buying the bigger things that I need now. I just worry something is going to happen and I am going to be left with all these things that will remind me what could of been ,but I know I can not leave it till the last minute either....
Awesome deals! I love love love garage sales....and craigslist too

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
That is fantastic! I know what you mean about thinking you may jinx yourself. I finally broke down and bought some maternity shorts, but I have only taken the tags off of and worn one pair so far. The other two pairs are staying in the bag with the tags and receipt until I am more confident.
Great buys! $40 is a bargain for all of that. (We spend $25 at McDonald's just to feed my family. Getting a stroller and a carseat is a much better deal!) I know what you mean about buying stuff and feeling like it's kind of scary. I am so scared to start really looking at things. If something happens to this little one, there isn't going to be another. At my age it is so risky. I don't think I'd want to try this again. So, the stuff would never be used and I would be absolutely crushed. But, I'm going to start thinking positive and slowly let myself enjoy this PG. I don't want to look back and only remember the fear. Happy shopping. I hope you find more great deals!
awesome deals !!!!!!
I understand what you mean about buying things.....I dont think I started until I was 20 weeks....
and I have not stopped yet
wanna come to my house next month...we are having a HUGE sale...lol
I know that feeling, after we got all the big stuff I kept thinking what if something happens, all these thought came rushing in and I was just overwhelm for a while... and to be very honest I thought something was going to happen until the last minute.
By the way great deals! The one thing that I have heard not to get use it's a crib, other than the crib it's yours.
I know what you mean. BUT, I have also felt a sense of relief when I've bought some of the bigger things. Like we got a crib (over 100 off new and only used for storage because of a co-sleeping baby) and a Fischer Price Cradle Swing (near new for only 40 bucks... normally like 150 or more). It was like milestones for me. I've still got a long way to go and finding other people are scared more than me these days. I have daily moments of paranoia, but I definitely don't have that perpetual fear and anxiety that I had when I had my loss. I'm still scared, but things get me scared. I am not always scared and have moments of happiness or joy. I guess that is a good thing. I hope it turns out that I have a reason to be happy.
