You are getting so close. Are you nervous? Do you have everything you need? I can't wait to meet your baby.

Yep, I'm nervious. It's all the UNKNOWN that makes me so nervous. I have a planning personality and not being able to plan is driving me a little insane. DH and I just got back this evening from our final shopping spree to get the final items we need (OK, so a bunch of them were WANTS, not NEEDS, but hey, I've been waiting for this baby for YEARS). That was one expensive shopping trip!!!!

I have given DH permission to go to a baseball game that is 2 1/2 hours away on Sunday. I told him as long as I don't start any contractions before then and if he promises to be at the hospital within 3 hours (MAX) of my phone call to him, then he can go. My midwife is out of town until Tuesday, so I'm doing everything I can to wait until then anyway. When I went to my appt this week, I didn't even have the fill-in Dr check me cuz I didn't want to "stir anything up". When I was at the office a little over a week ago, I was 2cm and 80%, so it could be any day, but I'm not feeling any contractions yet. I'm hoping to take it easy this weekend to try and help reduce the chance of her coming (don't know if that's even possible, but I will feel better knowing I've tried).

Thanks so much for checking on me. It looks like Kelly is next and then it will be my turn.

So exciting! Take it easy this weekend. I hope you can make it until your midwife comes back. Keep us updated! Just a few more days
